The Wingate

Located on Shaftesbury Avenue in Soho and built in the late 1950s, Wingate House is an iconic West End property, comprising seven office floors, plus three floors of retail and leisure space. The project included a full refurbishment of the office space carried out by Oktra, involving interior and exterior refurbishment.

Structures Lab was responsible for the structural design, working in close collaboration with Oktra in a multidisciplinary design team, using a 3D Revit model for coordination and design. The design services were provided throughout all stages including feasibility studies, structural assessment of the building, design for all structural modification to floor structures and lift shafts.
